I have an issue running mongrel cluster, in fact mongrel_rails start works fine however mongrel_cluster start seems to lunch the mongrel instances but nothing is happing after ... seems that the rails environement is not loaded ... thanks in advance for the help

Hi Zed, occasionally one mongrel goes crazy one me and i see hundreds of messages like this: mongrel_r 831 root 35u IPv4 95165534 TCP localhost.localdomain:8011->localhost.localdomain:57981 (CLOSE_WAIT)
in the lsof
all for one mongrel on one port connecting to random ports in the 40k and 50k range
i followed the instructions in your mongrel faq
but i haven't been able to kill (USR1) the mongrel in question in time before it gets shutdown

I'm getting on mongrel_rails cluster::start a "** Ruby version is up-to-date; cgi_multipart_eof_fix was not loaded" and then i'm running into that infinite 99% cpu loop on uploading a file
mongrel is fully up to date and i've just reinstalled it, so i would think i would not need the cgi_eof fix but apparently i do
damnit i just noticed i'm the only on in here
