  • The thread was locked. I understand, but calling these sellers "part of the Etsy community" makes me gag. Rules be damned: if Etsy won't follow its own rules, why should I? Rules mean squat if they are not enforced. RobWhite has to do his job-- I emailed him and told him as much-- but please. Take care of it or stop using phrases like "community" "members" and "rules".

  • By the way, I got a very nice, personal email back from RobWhite, not a form. But he did say that there has to be another, better way of getting my point across. I can't see one. I told him that he was eventually going to have to mute me, because until the issue is dealt with or the hypocracy stops, I figure it's worth a vacation.
  • He actually was very nice-- but his job and a few others is to monitor the forums. They don't have the authority to do anything else. In fact, they would probably lose their jobs. As far as I can tell, they are the conscientious ones. The ones I'd like to hear from are the three on that flagging team. Are they overwhelmed? DO they prioritize? Is their job shit? but that info ain't coming.

  • I found your site by serfing the etsy forums. I was intrigued when you said only 100% hand made only. I thought wow this will be good. Your first photos showed images of jewelry. These are "NOT" 100% hand made. These are photos of strung purchased beads and assembeled cheap trinkets. Will someone be honest. Why can't these people be honest. They don't make jewelry, just assemble jewelry. How can they expect etsy to do their job, when most jewelry sellers can't even face their own truth? Like get rid of the handmade imported real jewelry so they can sell their assembled mass produced findings as handmade.
